Shelters of Comelico and Surroundings

Numerous remains of fortifications dating back to the First World War can be found throughout the Comelicense area, especially along the old military walkways. Caves and tunnels dug into the rock can offer shelter from the wind and for the more adventurous a makeshift bed. Most of them, however, are now unsafe and present several risks of infiltration and collapse.Pay maximum attention when visiting these places!
